I am a work at home employee and really wanted to not sit on the couch all day with my laptop. I checked out a few bike desks and settled on this one. I received it and could not be more pleased. It was nicely packaged and mostly assembled. There are just 6 steps to put this together. The bars at the base, the pedals, the seat, the seat back, the handlebars, and the desk just need to be screwed on. I am a 47 year old female and on a handiness scale of 1-10 I would rate myself a 7. I was able to put it together by myself with the exception of attaching the desk. I needed one more hand. The number of parts is minimal and they are conveniently grouped together by step. I used only the tools provided and finished it in about an hour and 15 minutes. The steps are really not difficult and the instructions are clear. I hit a couple of small snags like one stuck bolt and some wires facing the wrong way, but they were easily corrected. The seat is nice and large which is one of the reasons I gravitated to this model. It really is quite comfortable. The bike is very quiet and would in no way be audible on a conference call. The desktop is also nice and large and I can fit my laptop, an external mouse and my cell phone. I use the cup holders for my regular phone and a beverage. All in all I could not be happier with it so far.
