This is my first bean grinder. Recently on a trip to visit my son in NYC, he explained to me the benefits/joy of cold brewed coffee. Since I am a newbie and experimenting with different coffees I thought the best way would be to grind my own fresh beans. I picked this grinder based on the reviews and they were spot on. The manual gives all the technical info (how to use) but also includes a nice chart concerning how much and how long to grind, quantity of beans to use, and ratio of ground coffee to water. Grind your beans, wipe out the grinder, and enjoy your coffee!
