The more blathering I hear about this movie on the review sites , the more I want to ignore them and just enjoy it - and I did this past weekend. This is a funny and action packed movie meant to be taken at face value. There is no hidden agenda. The agenda is right out in the open for all to see - take it or leave it. There's still plenty here for men to enjoy as long as they aren't overly sensitive about a little anti-male sentiment. Harley Quinn is a great character, one of DC's greatest, and Margo Robbie is still super hot so men should see the movie for that, if for no other reason. A boycott by men would only reinforce the point of the movie. Sure, I miss the skin tight hot pants as much as anybody, but she still looks super sexy in baggy cutoffs. It just leaves more for the male imagination to ponder and that is a good thing. As for the film supposedly under-performing, the low ticket sales have been misconstrued. The ticket sales aren't really low because of a lack of interest. The film is intentionally being marketed to a more select audience.
