I'd give it 5 stars but let me explain why I'm not. First off, I bought this for my 10 month old kitten. He likes to be up in high places and this was perfect. He absolutely loves this thing. The scratching posts are perfect, he uses them all the time but doesn't use the houses ever. So we just store his toys in there at the end of the day. Its a good size, not too large and doesn't take up too much space. Here's why its 4 stars. Its kinda wobbly. You can tighten it as much as you'd like but its going to wobble if you have a very active kitty. So its best to have it sit against a wall and retighten it every so often for safety. There's also a string toy mouse on one of the perches. PLEASE REMOVE THIS. My kitten loves this toy but one night he managed to get it wrapped around his tail and could not break free because of the elastic band. We thought it was a fluke and left it alone but were very cautious. The same day he got it wrapped around his foot. Had no one been home, he would have broken his leg from struggling. We ripped the thing off. If you have an active kitten/adult cat, please be very cautious of this toy. They love it but it can be dangerous. The tree is a very good deal. Just be careful with the toy and retighten it often.
