This book is darling, and a true depiction of what every day life is like for a homemaker. I will be reading this to my daughter as often as possible, to help show her the true worth of a homemaker, and the hard work that goes into taking care of a home and family. I got a great laugh out of the 1-Star reviews! Apparently, the idea of doing housework, cooking and child care is absolutely disgusting to many modern women. And isn't it so "unfair" that the Dad gets to drive to work and stay there all day while the Mom has to clean, do laundry, bake treats, go for a walk, have a friend over for tea, read and sing to her babies?! Oh the horror! ; )
