My Experience with this Strider over a year.
I used this strider for about 1 year. It was quiet, compact, convenient, and served it's purpose. I'd had my eye on this product since I was 318lbs and purchased it once I hit my 250lb milestone. I spent 30-40 minutes on it 3x a week, standing/not sitting. It provided a decent sweat while being able to distract yourself and watch TV. The pedal movements are very short, but it didn't feel uncomfortable for my height of 5'7". After roughly 6 months of consistent use, the pedal cranks would start to loosen and jiggle, a scary and unsettling feeling when you're on the strider. At first, I only had to re-tighten them once ever 3-4 uses, then over a few more months, it started to get worse and loosen after only 20min of us. At this point I'd reached a weight low enough to invest in my progress and move onto something more serious. So I ended up buying a used, full size elliptical to increase my workout intensity. I ended up donating my InMotion Strider. I could have probably kept it and put some loc-tite on the bolts and hope it wouldn't keep loosening, but for $100, it served it's purpose and was a part of my journey between the 250lb and 218lb mark. At 193lbs, today, I've moved on from the elliptical to a spin bike to help take me to my next stage of fitness. Looking back at this device, it really served me well for the price!
