This is an excellent replacement for my old Vidalia Chopper, which after many years of use finally broke.Chops like a dream! Almost too good. I love the new design, being able to pull out the chopping screen and replace it, they take less room to store. Only 2 complaints: 1. my old one had measurements on the side of the container 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup, 1 cup which made it easier to measure and not having to use a measuring cup. I guess I could put them on myself, just scratch them in, but so far, not too terrible a flaw. 2. A flaw/plus. The chopping screen is EXCEEDINGLING sharp!! So much so that 3 times now, in the short time I have owned it, I have cut my finger picking it up to put away....If you don't keep your fingers on the plastic when removing/picking up the chopping screens, you can easily cut your finger! Update: I don't miss the measurements on the side....it's seldom that critical to have exact measurements. 2 years later, still chopping away!!!
