We bought this because the other mattress protector we were using was very slippery feeling material—to the point the sheet kept moving and it became annoying. I love love love this mattress pad! We have a memory foam bed and it doesn’t interfere with the isolation of movement (if my husband rolls over, I don’t notice with this mattress pad). It’s such a comfortable night sleep. Only thing is I can’t attest that it is a “cooling” mattress pad—I don’t notice any difference with temperature. I can say it doesn’t make the bed any hotter than it was before. Another plus is it helps the fitted sheet fit even more snugly so we don’t have sliding sheets anymore.
