I haven’t slept on the bed, but I did lay on it and noticed it felt pretty compact. I’m pretty used to twin air beds and I’ve ordered other intex models and this one seemed pretty tight for a twin. So I decided to measure and the width for me comes out between 32-33 it does puff out a little on the sides since it’s rounded, but that doesn’t help the top. I checked the dimensions and saw it’s stated 39” width. I also notice my feet hang off a little bit too. I never noticed that with other twin mattresses. I’m only 5’4. I will say the height felt fine and the bed seemed comfortable. I had thought about ordering another intex air mattress but decided on this one. If I had to do it over again I would have bought the other slightLy more expensive model. I may return to buy that one, but the smaller size has some benefits of not taking up too much space. I think the rounded Sides make it seem smaller. However for the price it’s a good deal and it seems really comfortable. It’s only a temporary solution for therapy, Update- I put the pillow top part at the feet and it helps my feet to not feel like they are hanging off. It's also nice that it slightly elevates my feet too. So I updated it to 4 stars.
