Took a look at this in Petsmart and ordered here because it was cheaper. Wanted some more water capacity for the pets. Tip for people struggling, after filling the unit up while the opening is still at the top put the base on and lock it in so its upside down, then since the base is install and locked in, quickly turn it over. Update: I wanted to add some photos and a video of me installing a filled water jug. With the installed filter it's flow rate is reduced to the point that I didn't spill any water. People who have trouble with the weight might consider Installing the base on top of the jug, lock it in place and then slowly turn it over. Honestly it wasn't too bad doing it the way I did.
