For $20 I was pleasantly surprised I could hear anything at all. It’s not nearly as loud or clear as a Littman, but I’m ok with it. Could still distinguish breath sounds. The black on black is beautiful. it’s so lightweight. In that aspect, I prefer carrying this one on my neck over a Littman. I also love that it comes with a little name tag plate and different size ear pieces. For students/new grads, I would invest in a Littman so you can learn properly. This was purchased as my “crappy backup stethoscope” in case something happens to my nicer one. If you’re experienced and truly can differentiate your lung sounds, this will do. For what I spent on it, I can’t complain!
