This skirt is ridiculously comfortable, first off. I usually wear about a US 16-18 in bottoms, and the XXXL fit very well--possibly a touch big in the waist, so if you're on the smaller end of a 16, you might consider sizing down. It's fabulous for those days when I just can't handle anything constricting around my belly, though, and it's not going to fall off, so I call it a win. AND IT HAS POCKETS. Nice deep pockets--set a little low due to the way the waistband is cut, but still, POCKETS. The length is a little off. It's billed as a maxi skirt, but on me it hits at about mid-calf or a touch below (I'm 5'6"). I actually like this length better, but if you're specifically looking for something ankle-length, take your height into account before buying.
