I ordered this to be used with our LED pond Lights as it is rated for outdoor use and it has a photocell. The price was spot on for me at about 11 bucks. The timer can be set from dusk til dawn, 2, 4, 6, 8 hours or just On all the time. We set ours for 4 hours. No need to keep the underwater lights on after we go to bed so it has worked great for us. It pops on about the same time my Malibu photocell kicks on our landscape lights. The only downfall I have had with it is the bottom of the timer where you plug something in recessed in a little bit so it doesn't allow large plugs such as the one that came with my LED lights. As you can see in the pics I have provided. Other than that it has been a great timer. I would like to note that mine is plugged in under shelter, our front porch and not exposed directly to the elements. It has been wet a few times from storms but had no issues.
