I am not going to go as far as to say this is a miracle, but pretty darn close! Roxy is my 11 year old Schnauzer, she has macular degeneration and arthritis. Because of this, she has house accidents and has a hard time getting around--she comfort eats, and wants to be left alone. The conditions came on fast and one vet suggested putting her down. :( She got a second opinion and the vet put her on an RX NSAID, which helped, but she was whining at night in pain. I first learned about curcumin for my own body pain--my doctor suggested that I try it. It was fantastic for me, so I thought I'd research it for Roxy. I've been pairing it up with her RX, and boy what a difference! She is still somewhat blind, but it seemed like the curcumin helped her vision somewhat. I witnessed her going around an obstacle instead of crashing into it like she had been before... she doesn't cry at night, she can go up and down the stairs better, and she hasn't had accidents. Well up until I went to 2 pills, then she had GI upset so I thought I'd give her a break from this. When I stopped, she reverted back to before--she got stuck in a corner even though I was giving her a voice cue, she cried during the night, and house accidents. Roxy takes the pills very easily--she has only 8 teeth remaining, but can chew this just fine. She thinks they are a treat. I noticed very subtile improvements within the first few hours of her taking it and excellent results (all things considered for her) about a week in. It's definitely helping her, so I'm going to continue with 1 pill for a while and slowly build her up to 2 again if her GI tract allows for it. Excellent product, Roxy and I thank you for this!
