I've had problems with ants at my house for the last 2 years. We tried to kill them organically by using Borax and that didn't work. We made it about 10 different ways using recipes we found online and even though the ants ate it, they kept coming. I didn't want to poison the Earth any more than it already is, but eventually we tried 3 different ant poisons from Terro. We tried the kind you spread, a spray and gel bait traps. None of those worked and I hated spraying poison around my yard. I found info about using Diatomaceous Earth online and ordered this product and the duster for about $30. I dusted it all over lines of ants that were going up walls and under the siding. I kicked around some ant hills and dusted it all over them. I probably dusted about 30 spots in my yard. I checked on them throughout the day and would see the ants trying to get up the wall and then falling after climbing about 4-6 inches. Within the day, there was not an ant in sight. I checked a bunch more times today and found nothing. They are all gone!!! I only needed about 1/2 of a pound to do it. I plan on dusting after any heavy rains but doubt I'll use more than a 1/4 of the bag all summer. I can't wait to share this amazing and 100% organic trick with anyone that I know that has ants. Best $30 I ever spent. Tip: Make sure you wear goggles/glasses and a mask. You DON'T want to breath this stuff in. You can order masks from Amazon when you order this stuff. UPDATE: Today is 7/21/15. It's been about 7 weeks since I first used D.E. I figured I would need to reapply it after a heavy rain or every few weeks, but that has not been necessary at all. I dusted a few times around specific areas where I saw ants during the first week, but haven't used any since. I have not seen a single ant inside my house since May. This has been one of the most valuable purchases I've ever made on Amazon.
