UPDATE: I have the white version and it has yet to show any signs of discoloration and still soft and flexible. I only take it out every week to clean it when I clean the shower and tub. Easily the best $20 product for the home. Everyone needs one of these for the tub! I backed this project on Kickstarter and it just arrived today. I got the white version. It is by far the best hair catcher. No knotted tangled mess to clean up. Sure it costs more than that $1.50 one Walmart sells, but those are throwaways since you can't clean them easily. I have a brand new shower with a built in stopper. I unscrewed the stopper and put this in its place. Fits perfectly. The package shows that it does stick up a little (to let hair go down the sides to catch it). If it were flush it wouldn't catch hair. This is made to last a long time and looks great in the tub.
