My biggest frustration with these bags has been the fact they have been in my wish list for so long before I finally hit that day where I was done with plastic bags and finally ordered them. I've had this set for about two months now and have been very impressed. The variety of the sizes in this set has been more than enough when shopping for produce for one person- I would feel confident shopping for a family as well. I've even found a game changing alternate use for packing when traveling (the large bags were perfect for socks / underwear / bras / tank tops, the medium bags took care of my typically chaotic electronics quite nicely). Durability-wise I have washed the bags multiple times and have not experienced snagging or wear-and-tear yet. That being said I would advise treating the bags with care- air dry after washing, store in their bag as opposed to a drawer that could snag. One of the unexpected bonuses of this purchase was the storage bag that these bags were delivered in. The pouch zips closed and also fits my larger grocery bags, my 16oz travel mug, and a notebook. It is perfect for keeping all of my shopping supplies together which has made it almost impossible to forget my bags when going out. If I had one criticism it would be that the material is tough to stick a produce sticker on if you shop somewhere that the customer typically weighs the product. Depending on where you shop this may not be a problem if the customer is not expected to weigh their produce but for me an easy solution was to use pages from my notebook that I stick the stickers on all together so the cashier just has to scan each of those. As for the criticism that the bags add weight to your product when you weigh it- I would assess that the difference is negligible unless you are buying extreme amounts / varieties of produce. If this is an issue for you then you may just have to weigh your produce before placing it in the bag when possible.
