I purchased the Coop pillow a but over a month ago and wanted to try it out before submitting a review. This is by far the best pillow I've bought in years. The ability to remove the foam to my satisfaction was the key element for purchasing. In addition, to be able to wash the cover and the inner liner far exceeds other products. I tossed the pillow into the dryer when it arrived, fluffed up after 10 minutes, and there was no odor before tossing in the dryer. Sleep: having rods & screws in my neck along with disc disease, it was always a challenge for me to find pillows as I have to adjust my neck, shoulders and head in order to alleviate pain. Too many times I would wake in pain and have to adjust the angle or height of my pillows. With this pillow, so far, I have slept through the night. That to me is well worth the cost alone. Comfort: I did watch the informative video which was very helpful as the pillow's loft was a bit high for me. Easy to remove and save the filling if needed in the future. I'm a 'head sweater' and have tried every cooling pillow on the market. I came to the conclusion after spending so much money, there is no pillow that will remain cool through the night. But, although this isn't a 'cooling' pillow, the night sweats are bearable and no longer is my sleep disrupted because of a pillow being soaked. Cost: well worth the price for me. Having the ability to clean the outer and inner liner is essential as a head sweater. I previously purchased Coop's main bamboo competitor's pillow and it did not perform like Coop's pillow. I did not like having huge clumps of hard foam clumps digging into my face (side sleeper) and my head. Coop's pillow is very lightweight compared to what felt like turning 10 pounds of foam in the middle of the night. I was constantly tossing that pillow over and over again throughout the night. Although the competitor states it can be washed, I didn't want to wash it for fear the foam would disintegrate, plus there is no cover to wash. That pillow was hot and too heavy. I spent big bucks on two kings that lasted less than one year. Coop's customer service is excellent as they followed up with me to see if I was pleased and to ask if I had any questions. Overall, I really didn't have huge expectations for any pillow, but Coop's is about as perfect of a pillow as one can buy, especially if you have neck and back problems.
