My Story, bear with me, so you won't have to go through the same. Initially the People Magazine App did not work on my Kindle Fire. I had registered with People Magazine, downloaded the app, installed it and signed in (on the library screen on my Kindle), and the magazine downloaded from People. I even had a picture of the People Magazine's front cover in my library, but it would not load or open to read. I got in contact with Amazon and after an hour or so with their associate, I was told the problem was with People Magazine. I finally figured out that the problem was with my "sign in" in the library, that somehow my password was not working properly. I kept sending an email to People Magazine to issue me password reset instructions from the Kindle and got no response within a 12 hour period, then I emailed People Magazine from their web site. People responded in a short period of time and told me that the password reset should arrive via email, within 15 minutes of their email to me and it did not. Sooooo, I looked in my "spam mail" folder and there were all of the emails from People Magazine (from my previous emails to them), in all five or six messages telling me how to reset my password. Shame on me, I should know better. Anyway, after resetting my password, going to the library, where there was not any pictures of People's Magazines, signing in and the pictures of People's Magazines covers appeared. I double touched the download arrow on the magazine and the magazine started downloading. After it downloaded, I believe I had to sign in again to see the other magazine and double touched it to start it downloading. The end of the story is, I have my People's Magazines and am happy and satisfied that I can read People's Magazines on my Kindle. The pictures and text are wonderful, they really stand out on the Kindle screen. Thank you People Magazine for putting up with my many emails to you to reset my password. The People Magazine App works perfectly, if one follows all the instructions and sets a correct password when signing in. By the way, you must have a subscription to the paper copy of People's Magazine in order to use this app.
