I bought these pants for my first time skiing in Wisconsin. While these pants are not marketed as ski pants, they are perfect for skiing, as long as you wear warm long underwear or fleece pants underneath. I was not cold at all, and the temperature was between 20 and 25 all day. I'm not saying I'd recommend these pants for expert skiers, but they fit nicely over my ski boots, we're comfortable and easy to move in, and completely waterproof. The bottom of the pants also has a Velcro dart that can be tightened or loosened to go over boots. These pants do not have pockets, which might be an issue for some (though it wasn't for me-I have plenty of pockets in my ski coat.) Oh, and because this helps me in reviews I read, I'm 5'4 and just under 130 pounds and the small fit me perfectly, even with fleecy long underwear under the pants. I normally wear a size 4 pant.
