I cook professionally. Since my partner became vegan, I've been looking for an easy affordable protein product that was versatile, affordable, and convenient. This product wins hands down. It will taste like anything I want it to. It absorbs flavors and moisture seemingly instantly. Anything I could make from ground turkey, I can make with this, and more besides. It looks similar to Grape Nuts when dry. Throw it in some red pasta sauce, and it tastes & feels like a meat sauce. I can't wait to develop a veggie burger with it. The possibilities are limitless, and I don't have to defrost anything.
