I read all of the reviews I could find on the product and decided to make the purchase. I believe the main reason so many buyers ran into problems has to do with thinning the paint. The company's video and instruction manual all mention adding only 10% water for latex paint. Unless the paint is thinned to meet the flow rate as shown in the manual you will probably have a problem. I continued to add water to the latex paint until the viscosity cup discharged the paint in the required time. Neither the company or the paint manufacturer will tell you this as they want to protect themselves. With thinner paint you may have to do a second coat. So what? I used the Paint Zoom to paint concrete block that had been painted previously and it worked well. No one in the videos is using a mask or eye protection. I suggest you do especially if you are in a confined space. I also recommend you have an old toothbrush handy for cleaning the nozzle each time you fill the paint cup. When cleaning I suggest you turn the spray gun upside down and while holding the trigger open, run water through the tube to clear the nozzle. I would recommend this product.
