This is what happens when you shop on Amazon after a late night of drinking...you end up buying items for instruments you don't even play. While I can't comment specifically about using this on a guitar, I will say it is very good material to be trusted. The strap is durable, thick weaved strands and the leather is very tough. When it arrived I immediately thought WTF did I order?! After logging into my account I realized how cheap it was and thought "oh well, let's see". I tried to hang it on my ukulele but it looked and felt too heavy duty...like using a crosstraining rope to walk a Chihuahua. This thing is cheaper than the last belt I bought and much better quality, so I wont even bother trying to return it. Maybe I'll use it to hold up my pants or find a guitar hero to give it to. The photo shows the width of the strap, the 3 picks and rubber ends it comes with. For under $8 this is really a steal of a deal!
