Included power supply is garbage. After two month of use, the 5.0V power supply now only outputs 4.5V, and continues to degrade. This is no longer enough to power the motor, only the LEDs. The motor appears to be a 3V DC motor, and is now only receiving 2.1V DC, which is not enough to do anything but cause burn out. (I am an electronics engineering technician journeyman and have tested the internal components of the unit and the power supply.) The good news is that the power supply is a generic 5.0V USB power supply, which is easily replaceable. The included one is cheap and unbranded. Make sure that you have a spare USB power supply, or can plug this into a USB socket, such as a computer. PSA: If the wave effect stop for you using any power supply, try plugging it into a high quality power supply (e.g. Samsung, Apple) or a desktop computer USB port. If it works, DO NOT use the old power supply. This can cause the motor to burn out and overheat and very rarely cause a fire. If it does not work with a better power supply, do not use the unit as the motor may have already burnt out or the unit may have loose wiring. UPDATE: Ohuhu has compensated me for the bad power supply. Great customer service.
