8x12? On what planet?
The product seems well-made and sturdy, color is good, but was quite surprised at the size of my '8x12' shade once mounted.....i'm assuming the dimensions are taken from the outstretched corners, and not the center section of the screen, which i would guess to be about 5 x 9? Since this is my first shade screen purchase ever, maybe this is industry standard, so my advice to my future self and others is to buy the next size up if you're looking for a true 8 x 12 shaded area. .
