I chose this product because I read reviews of other product frames collapsing. I can’t imagine why anyone would make a product of this type without a solid frame. THIS product has a metal frame and is very sturdy. My dog can put his paws anywhere on the frame without problems. He is a 8lb min pin and has room to turn himself around in the basket. His harness does fasten to a safety strap in the back that keeps him put (not visible in the photos). This product is adjustable allowing me to get him up high where he can easily see everything. Would definitely buy again. With this product I feel like my dog is more secure and able to ride more comfortably. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this for him several years ago!
