Initially, I was going to review this product at a much lower rating because I was a bit miffed by the idea of actually using the brush just once, when I have four toilets in my house. When I bought it, I thought that I could probably be able to clean all of them with one of the pads and then throw the pad away. As it turns out, the advertising is quite correct, one pad= one use. After going through the first four pads in one hour, despite the fact that they worked quite well, I put the box back in the closet. It would be way too costly to keep up my home with this brushing system. Then—oh, but then, I read online that cleaning with citric acid is a great, natural alternative to cleaning solutions. I bought this huge five pound bag of Citric Acid Powder - Ultra Fine Pure Powdered Crystals - Natural Preservative Food Grade Quality (16 oz), and with a bit of ingenuity, I figured that if I put a bit of the citric acid in each of my toilets and let them soak for about ten minutes, and THEN used the clorox cleaning brush, I was able to spread out the use of one pad for all four of my toilets, leaving them spotless. Woo! It’s really great now, because I’m able to continue using this super convenient product, while not breaking the bank. The citric acid, by the way, is great for a whole other host of household things, like cleaning disposals, dishwashers, making smoothies, preserving fruit, etc. I’m happy with both of my purchases and can now upgrade my review to four stars!
