This supplement is great for avoiding cold sores!! I take one every day especially when I feel a cold coming on and I haven't gotten a cold sore since I've started!! I am sure they will still re-appear here and there but reducing the frequency using this supplement has been a huge help!! Cold sores are supper annoying so anything that helps reduce their frequency is much appreciated The pills are easy to swallow (though i will say they are a bit large). Also, the price is great
