The fact that this is free on Amazon just blows my mind. It's easily the best mobile beat'em-up ever made and probably in the top ten best mobile games of any genre. The graphic are cartoony and charming as hell, the controls are fantastic on my second generation Kindle, the gameplay is fast, fluid, runs without a hitch and has depth that most lack with many digital downloadable titles on markets such as Xbox Live, Steam, and the PlayStation Store. On the Actually Free Amazon version you can download Barry Steakfries (Jetpack Joyride guy) which gives you a total of three playable characters to choose from with their own move sets which you can upgrade with gold that you can get for free from the shop. So rather than grinding out gold to gain power you can simply max everyone out from the start, and unlike most games that allow this it does not make the game too easy to be enjoyable. I find the challenge to still be satisfying and watching the simple yet highly amusing story unfold to be a blast. There is also the option to customize your own character to play with that will share the same move set as Dan, but the big difference is there is quite a few outfits to wear that you can even mix and match, and all types of clothing (I think...) have their own passive bonuses that will help in several different ways. Being a Kindle owner I have access to every item and I appreciate the thought, care, effort put into them instead of just tacking them on as an afterthought. Honestly, I could go on and on bragging about the heights of awesome that is this game, especially the free version. There is so much content here to keep you busy for many hours depending on your level of skill, and the levels are nice and varied so things don't feel any more repetitive than any other brilliant game in this genre would otherwise. The developers should be applauded, lauded, and dotted (it rhymes fite me ;) for creating such a fantastically fun experience for us mobile studs and babes, and Amazon should be shown appreciation for making this beast FREE considering how very few games that require purchase even come close to matching the quality on display here.
