My daughter and I have been fighting thrush for over a month. She got it in her tongue a few weeks after she was born and I got it in both breasts. We went through 4 weeks of treatment with medication and creams without any improvement. I used the gentian violet on her tongue and my nipples once and the thrush on her tongue is almost gone after 1 day. It does stain quite a bit. Her tongue and lips are very purple. After reading other reviews, I made sure the baby was wearing something that I didn't care about throwing away. If I ever have to deal with thrush again this product will be my first option.
