Try them, with socks.
Yes, they hurt! I have sensitive feet, no meat on them at all. The first time I wore them I could barely take more than a few steps. Now I can wear them for hours - as long as I wear socks. I wear the same smartwool socks i wear with my gym shoes and walking shoes. So, I guess recommend pairing these extremely helpful foot massage slippers with wool socks. Feel free to try other types of socks. Did I say that I wear them only indoors? They're too ugly for walking outside. But a little bit of time in the morning and evening does wonders. I've tried all of the balls, stretches, massage, PT. Nothing worked to heal my plantar fasciitis except for these pressure point slippers. I got the idea for pressure points after walking on a wonderful rug at a yoga studio. Was looking online for a jute boucle rug, ran into articles about pressure points and shoes. Decided to give these to. They work. They also make me stand up straighter more naturally. Don't know if that was intended.
