I purchased this so I would have a back up sealing ring for my Instant Pot, and very glad I did! I have two liners also. If you’re like me, you use your Instant Pot often. I have made butter chicken for dinner and yum it’s tasty but I don’t want my ring smelling like butter chicken, and potentially transferring that flavor or smell when I make my yogurt. A second liner and ring mean I don’t have to wait to make something else while the sealing ring is going through the dishwasher. Added tip after the sealing ring is washed make sure it’s dry and store in a ziplock with a little baking soda :) then rinse before you use the sealing ring the next time.
