I have read many reviews on this ramp. It is a little pricey but is is not a piece of plastic like most others. The issue that concerned me was the carpeted surface which many claim is very slippery. The manufacturer claimed it was fixed, though other much older review said it was not. The ramp has been "unavailable" for some time now so I waited. It just became available so I took the chance. I received it in one day. I opened it up and inspected the carpet before I assembled it. IT WAS SOLVED! The carpet is not thick, but is not slippery. The assembly was easy, but the instructions could be a lot better. My little 13 lbs dog learned to use it in about 30 seconds. Now that it is in place our dog does not wake us up when he wants to get into bed. Plus the ramp looks like a piece of furniture. I am very happy with the purchase.
