Literally the best purchase of 2020 y’all. I got my first ever Brazilian wax at a salon about 6 weeks ago. After spending $70 including the tip... I was thinking... no effing way every month! So I looked here and found this one with great reviews and at the best price for all the kits online although not very “popular” compared to other kits. Maybe sketchy? DEFINITELY NOT! Now my hair was very long since I was just on the west coast for the last month. About 1/2 in or maybe even more. Sigh. Here’s what I did for my Brazilian wax : I am only 126 pounds.... 5”6 and pretty small private parts area. I know... TMI 1. Emptied an entire bag into the warmer 2. Turned it on low, cover off 3. Went to go enjoy and entire cup of coffee and watch the news 4. About 40 mins later... went to check on it... slightly melted. So I turned it onto medium. Still with cover off 5. Waited another 2 mins, more coffee lol 6. Apply the pre wax, then baby powder the hell out of whatever you’re waxing. 7.Started the journey-waiting for all hell and screams to break loose 8. Stood in my bathroom, leg on counter 9. Pulled skin taught.... THEN APPLIED WAX WITH SKIN TAUGHT. don’t try and do it the other way because it crumples up the wax and makes it harder to pull. 10.Only made about a 1 in strip so as not to kill my self with pain. 11.Feel the wax. When it’s dried to the touch, still warm, and doesn’t stick to your fingers....but still pliable.... get ready to pull. 12. Start to sort of peel the bottom part- you pull the hair in the opposite direction of growth....anyways... start to flick up a little so you can get a nice piece to start pulling.... then rip! At your own pace. Some parts you can just rip freely, and some parts (closer to the hood) I had to take a deep breath and do in 2-3 section pieces. 13. Apply post wax which was also supplied... and then baby powder again so you get zero irritation I had ZERO bleeding, and zero sensitivity to this wax. It literally BARELY EVEN HURT. After my wax at the salon.... I got very sore and almost like it was sensitive to even air conditioning. Not with this! I seriously can’t give this thing enough praise. All in all, I used about 12 strips as I went back over a couple places and then decided to do my derrier too lmao. This is a genuine purchase. I was not paid for this review, nor did I get this for free. I’m just a regular girl, trying to save some money while work is almost non existent through this pandemic and I’m basically broke AF. But I did want to keep up with the waxing. Supposedly it hurts less every time and grows more sparse. Bonus.
