I just received and installed this lever in one of my Toto toilets. It fits just like the original and works fine. Some of the reviewers have remarked that this replacement lever is a cheap piece of junk. I'm pretty sure both the new and original handles are metal. See my attached picture. It shows that this replacement is reinforced substantially compared with the original one. In the picture I've disassembled the handles to show the spot where the original wore out. The top one is this one, the new one. The bottom is the original one. There is a red circle around the wear damage. You should be able to see that the oval channel is deeper, thicker and also is reinforced with a fin.
