I purchased this folding cane while in a leg cast for 6 weeks. I was mostly on crutches, but wanted the option of something I could take with me and put in my purse. Especially when I was going somewhere that had wheelchairs or the riding carts at the grocery store and needed something to use to and from the car. I stopped for folding canes at some local stores and was shocked by the prices, and couldn't justify spending that money on something I only needed a few times over a 6 week period. Then I was shopping on amazon and came across this item. It was exactly what I was looking for, and right in the price range. I really liked that it came with a carrying case, so the tip of the cane didn't get the inside of my purse dirty! I found the cane to be very sturdy, and did not have any concerns of collapse once I saw how it worked! Like I said, this is a great product at an even greater price!
