I tried this on my aging dog's paws. She was having mobility issues on hard surfaces and was slipping a lot. I'm so happy that it works! The booties were a no because my other dog would rip them off. The nail grippers have to be glued on and can work their way up the nail bed, another no. The self-adhesive pads range from $7 - $39 per pair and get very poor reviews; apparently they peel right off. This spray has a tacky feel on her paw pads, has a pleasant smell and she's parading around the house like a much younger dog (she's 15). I'll happily spray her paws every morning and as needed. It's also water resistant. I read another review where someone complained that they noticed dirt on the floor - I'll take dirt on the floor any day over my dog slipping and falling. That's what brooms are for. However, I have not experienced any dirt issues. I have experienced a very happy dog! And a very, very happy me. Awesome...
