I took a chance and ordered this because I am an eye shadow, well make-up in general, freak. But I especially love eye shadow because you can do so much with it. I'm 53 so I don't necessarily want the raging pinks or oranges or blues - which do look good on younger eyes, they just don't work once you have some lines and wrinkles. I can honestly say that I told my husband as soon as I opened this and saw the colors in person that THIS was THE FIRST palette where I knew I would use every. single. color.! The colors are really pigmented and they last all day. I have purchased NARS eye shadows from Sephora that were no where near the pigment these offer and you actually had to spritz setting spray on your shadow brush to get them to show. The colors are beautiful and I love the mixture of matte and sparkle.
