Five Reasons We Switched to This System
I am ready to purchase my fourth 30 count package here on Amazon. What makes The Clorox Wand System worth the higher price vs a regular toilet brush? I’m going to list my top five reasons.
1. They are disposable. No toilet germs sitting and brewing in a plastic container.
2. These pack a punch. There’s a lot of cleaning fluid in one little sponge. Your toilet definitely gets clean.
3. It reaches places your toilet brush cannot. For instance: under the lip of the toilet seat and in grooves that normally can get discolored. Number three makes it worthwhile in itself.
4. The disposable factor is great if you have a family member who has bladder cancer and consequently is getting chemo treatments in the bladder (my mom is). This is toxic. And, there are no worries of a toxic toilet brush laying around.
5. It eliminates the need for Ajax and other cleaners that often spill all over bathroom floors and rugs.
Pitfalls:
1. Cost. Weigh out the cost of cleaning materials and new brushes. This is probably going to be higher. But, convenience sometimes outweighs cost.
2. The arm of the system gets in the toilet and thus is not sterile. I make sure to clean it well with a disinfectant wipe and/or under the sink before returning it to it’s bin/station.
