These are great.. I use these to freeze my extra fresh herbs in oil or water. Great for making pesto and freezing. I make a batch, freeze, and pop out into either zip lock freezer bags or store in Food Saver bags for longer storage. I try to keep enough herbs on hand to last me through the winter. I make a lot of soups so I go through a lot. I also dump all my extra tomatoes in a big pot with a little sugar and salt to taste, and fresh herbs towards the end of cooking. I cook it all down to a paste and freeze the paste in these little cubes. So handy for popping a few into so many different recipes....especially fish and chicken. Oh great to defrost and add to scrambled eggs and sauted veggies. So many uses. I make herb butters, pastes, and pestos.
