I started getting bitten, but I was getting bitten in pairs, and they were like giant welts (not the usual pattern of bed bugs). So, I honestly didn't even think I had bed bugs. I very carefully inspected my mattress, and I found nothing. I bought this mattress cover basically "just in case". I WAS WRONG. I bought this, and washed and dried my bedding (twice).
