Some reviews marvel over the water it throws -- they're right! It comes in two pieces (plus a male connector to use with Gardena and Melnor). Out of the package it seems really junky, super lightweight, almost like a toy. When you connect the two main pieces it feels loose, like they're not well connected and I was certain it would leak, but it didn't and holy cow! does it work well! The sq footage this dinky little thing covers is amazing. Here's the other thing... comparing it to both oscillating-fan-style and impact sprinklers... the water from this one is more "penetrating" -- I have no idea why! It's kinda crazy. I'm guessing it might be from the kooky pattern it uses, but whatevs, the ground is far more saturated and has enabled me to cut back on time per area from 10+ to 6 mins. As we're in a wicked drought right now, this is a huge advantage. I have about 6 different sprinkler styles, from clunky old $20 to $100 for a Gardena (not worth it), this one is at or very near the top of the list.
