I am in love. After years of wanting a flocked tree but too cheap to buy one, and looking at all types of snow flocking online to do my own tree...I finally bought this. I read the review titled Mother Flocker and was sold. Very creative review! I just had to try it. Now I will tell you that things I DIY tend to look like Pinterest Fails but I figured it was worth a shot. It looked so easy. Not wanting to ruin my own 7 foot tree, I purchased a 24 inch dollar tree from the dollar store and flocked it first. I was amazed. However, what I found out was that it was very hard to do the branches at the bottom of the tree when it was completely put together. So I decided to build my 7 foot fake tree one layer at a time and flock as I went. This allowed me to flock branches of each layer without having the next layer branches in the way. So I built a layer, flocked, built, flocked,built, flocked till I was completely done. Then I stood back, reviewed my masterpiece and continued to flock more on areas that needed it. I used a small sifter about 6 inches in diameter and found that this worked well by not allowing too much flock at one time. It probably took me longer than most people but I was still done in about two hours. I bought the 2 pound bag and was able to flock my 7 foot tree, two small 24 inch trees and 8 feet of garland. Amazing stuff. Highly recommend!
