Follow the directions!! (And make sure you have another bathroom you can use!)
If you follow the directions very closely, you will be happy with this product! I honestly believe the negative reviews here are due to user error. I would suggest steps 1 through 20 be "Clean!" You need to clean the heck out of the tub (or sink) before you can even think about using this product. I followed the directions on the box and also used Lime Away and Comet. I spent over three hours cleaning the tub and sink, and then let them dry overnight. The surface must be totally dry before you begin!! Didn't clean properly? Failure. Didn't let it dry? Failure. Follow the instructions to the letter? Success! Next is the application - THIN THIN THIN!!! It took me three thin coats to cover my pink tub and sink. I used a non-foam roller for most of it to keep the product as thin as I could. I worked fast and efficiently. I used a non-foam brush where I could not fit the small roller. It SHOULD look splotchy at this step if you did it right. Then you must walk away for three hours! Seriously. THREE HOURS. No sooner. Then the same for the second coat (and it may still look splotchy then - that's ok!). After that, guess what? You have to wait at LEAST three days. AT LEAST! If you put on a third coat before the second coat cures (not dries, CURES) you will trap vapor and cause bubbles and cracking. You MUST wait. If you get too eager and put on a third coat too soon, you will fail. I waited 4 days. I applied my third coat and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! Clean, smooth, bright white! The pink is totally gone. I then waited another 3 days before I peeled off my painters tape, which I first edged with a razor blade to make sure it did not chip anything when peeling it off (which I seriously doubt would have happened). I waited another 2 days after that (5 days total) before I used the tub or sink. (If you don't have another bathroom to use while you do this, I wouldn't even attempt it.) It's been many months since I did this and it still looks perfect. I don't clean it with harsh chemicals or scrub it. Soft cloth and simple green and that is it. Don't let water sit in it (especially around the drains). If you do this right you will be VERY happy, like I am!! But seriously - follow the directions!!!
