First and foremost.... I live in the Bronx (of NY)... When I moved into my apartment, there were roaches everywhere. Although not a YouTube worthy infestation, it was enough to irritate me. I seriously HATE roaches. That being said, after several mediocre store-bought attempts (I.e. Raid), I came across these bait stations (along with the gel) from Amazon. Upon arrival, I injected extra gel in the bait stations, spread them around (mostly in) my kitchen and bathroom, then injected the gel in a few other nooks and crannies throughout the apartment -- again, focusing on food/moisture-laden areas. Then very next day, roaches were coming out from their hiding places struggling for dear life! I haven't seen a single cockroach since. Although inserting extra gel in those stations may have been overkill for some, I prefer to get the job done right and most effectively the first time around. Several months have past since my first and only application of this product, and I'm still roach free. Wirst case scenario... I still have plenty of gel left to refill the bait stations when they eventually get stale. So, if you've got roaches in your apartment or home.... This WILL work, period. I'm EXTREMELY satisfied with this product. P.S. On a side note, I only wish I knew about these when I lived and studied in Mexico for several years. Mexican roaches are fierce! So... Get these now! You won't be disappointed.
