Original Review: I really wanted to love this blanket, I did love it in concept. The weight was divine, the fleece cover was snuggly, but unfortunately the nano-ceramic beads presumably worked their way through the blanket because the two nights I attempted to use it we woke up with what felt like sand in the bed. The first night we thought maybe it was residual from when it was manufactured so we changed the sheets and tried again only to feel like we had taken a trip to the beach yet again. There were no holes, we looked it completely over multiple times, which is why I assume that the sandy mess worked it's way through the outer materials. This was a bust for us, the blanket has been returned and we are looking for a better alternative. Update: The company reached out to me about sending a replacement, which they did, and certainly didn't have to do. The new blanket is smaller, but still has the same weight as the original that I purchased. As I said before, the cover is so soft and cuddly. (That is my favorite part.) This one doesn't seem to have the problem with the sand, we have it on the couch rather than the bed just in case. It hasn't been used much so I will update after we have used the replacement for a while.
