I have to admit, I didn't realize these emitted PINK light. It's fairly aggressive... I was building a little plant shelf in our living room and figured LEDs were the perfect solution; these in particular looked promising. I should have read over the reviews in more detail and looked for comments on the color. I don't know why i just assumed they were white LEDs. Regardless, these are a steal for the price... I rigged everything up in only a few minutes and my plants are absolutely loving them. My wife? Not so much... I don't drop a star because of this, it was my fault for not looking into it more before buying. But we'll probably be putting these aside in hope of replacing them with white LEDs. Currently I have tomatoes, peppers, basil, chamomile, figs, cilantro, thyme, sage, mustard, lettuce and oregano growing under these lights. And they all seem to enjoy the pinkish glow! My only concern? I heard from a neighbor that some kids broke into his house and stole his tomato plants because they thought it was weed... Seriously, we need to educate the youth a little more! I hope a bunch of children don't break into my house because they see pink grow lights and assume I'm growing pot in my family room.
