I ordered a headlamp from a well known outdoor company last year. I believe the price was more than double this one. I was surprised at the quality of this headlamp. It appears the adjustable headband is made out of the same material as the other more expensive one, this one has all the features of the high priced one (direct beam, wide beam, blinking red and direct red), and last, I love the way it adjusts so I can point the extra strong beam directly on the ground in front of my feet. I don't believe the "other" headlamp adjusted quite as far as this one does. If you are considering buying a headlamp do not hesitate to choose this one, you won't be disappointed. Also, I ordered this during Christmas week and the seller shipped so quickly you would never guess it was a busy mailing holiday.
