This case works exactly as I expected. The holes line up with the buttons and speakers on my Kindle Fire HD 8.9". It fits snug with out adding too much bulk. The stand is easy to use. I've used it in multiple situations and positions. All have worked well. The auto sleep/wake function works well also. I haven't had any other covers for my Kindle as this has been a great cover for the price.
