I bought this for a new trick for my horse. Was very pleasantly surprised that it is sturdy enough that he can step on the pictures to play the music without damaging it. I had thought that I would just have him touch it with his nose. It's a lot of fun. I just need to make sure he doesn't step on the corner with the electronics. It even survived when he picked it up and shook it vigorously (he wasn't supposed to do that). Should hold up to a toddler.
